Inspiration: As someone who has been around the industry my entire life, I really found a way to merge my passion for beauty, education, and service. By opening Pyara, I found a way to embrace a practical way to help people. I truly believe that when we look our best, we feel our best. My product obsession and love for natural solutions work together to create the ultimate guest experience with our knowledgeable team. Each guest that we have in our space is like family to me. We as a team are so grateful for all the guests that call us home and their place. Each year we continue to help guests, we learn more about how to customize our guests experience and make each visit special.

Theresa Elliott
General Manager

About: Theresa is a returning Boston native after spending years living in sunny California. She worked at an Aveda lifestyle for 8 years, starting as a guest service representative, and quickly moving up the ladder to a supervisory role. Theresa continued her management education through classes and hands-on experience. She loves being a part of the Pyara family, and helps to coach and guide the team to success!

Lauren Avery
General Manager/ Esthetician

Education: Minuteman Tech Post-Grad program for Cosmetology & 9 years of Aveda training as well as training with Circadia, Naturopathica, Ultraceuticals, and Factor Five. Lauren also works to coordinate all education for the Spa and Hair Teams.

Trevor McConarty

About: Trevor comes to Pyara with a history in the hospitality industry. Being a creative person, the beauty industry has given him a lot of opportunities to express that. Not only does he give top customer service and guest experiences, he loves doing makeup and is able to show his work through makeup applications at Pyara. Trevor enjoys making people feel beautiful, not only on the outside through makeup, but on the inside through confidence!

About: I have been part of the Pyara Team since 2014. Helping others has always been a passion of mine and allowed me to grow my career in many ways. I began as a guest services team members and worked my way up to my current role as a Salon and Spa Coordinator. I also coordinate both locations Bridal and Group Bookings. I love being able to see and interact with all of our guests, as well as making sure they have the best experiences here at Pyara.

Education: Ailano School of Cosmetology 2006, Aveda Education Hair Color Systems, studied at the Aveda Advanced Academy in New York, Certified in Peter Coppola Keratin Concept, Advanced education with Aveda Global Educators.

Inspiration: I love seeing my guests smile and feel completely confident in themselves when leaving their experience. Making people feel good makes me feel good. I love being able to show my creativity in such a positive way working with conscientious brands.

Shane LeGault
Level 5 Stylist

Education: I have been working with the Aveda family since 1995, at the young age of 17. I'm certified in Aveda, Goldwell and Framesi hair color systems, as well as being certified in Aveda, Ouidad and Dellaria Pyametrics, all outstanding methods of hair cutting. I have been a part of Pyara's excellent education team since the opening of Pyara in 2005. Additionally, I have continued to pursue education world-wide, in London, New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and Minneapolis (among other cities). I have styled hair for several renowned New York Fashion Week events and have been featured in local and international publications such as: Stuff at Night, The Improper Bostonian, FMH and Allure magazine.

Kymorha comes to us after years of experience in the industry,  She loves make up  work and all things hair.  She works not only on salon but also on local movie sets, most recently on the Whitney Houston movie.

Education: TONI & GUY hairdressing academy 2015-2016, Aveda hair color systems education, Vomor extensions certified and Peter Coppola certified. Aveda face to face education

Inspiration: I found my inspiration and love for hair at a very young age. My mom has been an Aveda hairstylist for almost 30 years and watching her make her clients feel their best and put a smile on their face inspired me to want to do the same. Being able to show my creative side every day is a great feeling.

About: Following her college degree at Salem State, Nicole attended cosmetology school at Empire Beauty School in 2010. After working in the industry, she realized her passion and strength in mens cutting. She continued her education with a cross-over program at Massachusetts School of Barbering in 2015, furthering her mens cutting techniques. Nicole's passion for hair shows in her guests' experience, and the abundance of guest referrals. Has been with Aveda since 2006 with continued education in Aveda Hair Color, Advanced Hair Cutting and Men's Cutting. Specializes in blending, fades, and disconnected cuts.

Education: After graduating from Empire Beauty School in 2015, I realized I could find unlimited inspiration and growth with Aveda. Since I graduated, I have taken advanced education with Aveda, Vomor, Peter Coppola Keratin, American Wave, cutting and color.

Inspiration: To focus on each individual guest, tailoring the massage to their needs - from Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, or Hot Stone massages. Massage is my passion and my hobby because I work from the heart and ensure that each guest leaves feeling balanced and at peace.

Randy Sue Morse
Massage Therapist

About: Randy Sue attended Polarity Realization Institute, which is now SpaTech, in Ipswich, MA. She has been practicing since 1999, and she specializes in integrative massage. She loves that integrative massage is based on the idea that not just one massage is right for every situation. She uses every tool she must to best serve you, including; Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point work, reflexology, and polarity. Polarity is energy work with utilizes the same energetic anatomy as Reiki, but is hands-on. This allows her to add another dimension to the mind-body connection, and to bring her guests a richer massage experience. She loves her work and making people feel better with her touch.

Inspiration:

Sarah loves helping people feel more beautiful both outside and in. Her passion for aesthetics began in High School while doing makeup for her dance team. Her love for makeup and beauty quickly turned to a lifelong passion for skincare and waxing when she attended esthetics school. Her past experience as an early childhood educator translates into her nurturing and caring touch as an esthetician. As a skincare enthusiast, she is always educating her clients on homecare and creating personalized treatment plans. She has a passion for advanced treatments as well as holistic relaxing treatments. No matter what your skincare goals are, Sarah will work with you to help you achieve them! In Sarah’s free time she enjoys dancing, practicing yoga and mindfulness, going for nature hikes, and taking advanced skincare classes

Carol really enjoys doing makeup. So, that's when she decided to work in the beauty industry in an effort to empower people and raise self esteem. Her passion has only grown and her work is amazing.  Make sure to book make up applications for weddings, special events or just a night out. Her goal is to make every person in her chair sparkle. Her favorite product to work with is the translucent powder.  Its velvety texture makes every make up application photo ready.  Please keep in mind that with any services at Pyara we offer 5 minute complimentary touch ups.

About: Eva comes to Pyara with a passion for organization and teamwork. While looking to pursue a different career, she came upon Pyara and never knew she would love the industry. Eva enjoys learning every aspect of the industry, as well as working closely with so many different people. She creates fluidity by organizing and maintaining inventory, and coaches and guides the guest service department to create the best guest experience!
